Festival of Cycling, Munda Biddi OPEN!


A Festival of Cycling event will be held in Mundaring this Sunday April 28 10am -2pm to celebrate the opening of the iconic Munda Biddi Trail.

The local community can find out what the Munda Biddi is all about on Sunday, by taking part in free, guided cycle rides of part of the trail, which starts in Sculpture Park. Bikes will be supplied and suitable for children 12 years or over. Younger children are welcome to bring their own bikes and join in a ride. Official trail opening at 1pm. Assistance for Department of Education (DoE) Outdoor Education Teachers



The DoE has appointed John Tonkin College as the Teacher Development School (TDS) for Outdoor Education. The idea of the TDS is to offer assistance or support to teachers in order to develop their capacity to offer and teach the curriculum.

Email Grant at Grant.Tomlinson@education.wa.edu.au if you would like to be part of his email distribution network for DoE outdoor education teachers, or if you need some help or advice regarding delivering an outdoor ed program at your school.

Adventure Activity Standards & Leader Competency Review
