SITUATIONS VACANT

DAY WALK LEADERS

Living Waters Lutheran College have an overnight walk planned for the 23-24th of this month and are struggling to find some day walk leaders for the 24th. Living Waters is a great, up-and-coming school from down South and hopefully this will be the start of a regular program for the Year 9s.

The event is thoroughly planned and will run over sections of the King Jarrah Trail, with some activities and camping skills also.

There will be 4 groups of 20 kids looping the trail, each group will have a SAT phone and UHF supplied for comms. Vehicle support for the walk will be provided, school bus and 4wd.

Remuneration is offered and can be negotiated. We also have a short walk out of camp planned for the 24th which you can be involved in if you wish.

Interested leaders will need their First Aid and an appropriate level bushwalking qualification.

Thanks for your time, hope to hear from you very soon,
